Biography
Engr.Umar Jamil Sheikh is a multi talented Entrepreneur whose work connects Business Management to Engineering, communication, IT, philosophy and economics.He took up his post as Regent International College Director on 1 JULY 2015, having left the United Kingdom where he was the research analyst at The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and engaged in personal import export Business.Engr.Umar Jamil Sheikh took B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at The University of Faisalabad and MBA at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He pursued his management skills at the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and The University of Oxford, UK. He joined the Business Law programme in Italy to enhance his entrepreneurial capabilities.He is a teacher, Trainer, Entrepreneur and the author of several management articles. He is a life time member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) having several years of professional experience in multicultural industries.Describing his own approach to academic work, Engr.Umar Jamil Sheikh says: “We must set high standards for ourselves, but in order to inform the public well, not to isolate ourselves from it.”
